About Us
Founded in 2020, ASODEC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving the socio-economic conditions of marginalized communities through sustainable development, education, and vocational training.
Born from a response to the widespread poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), ASODEC held its inaugural General Assembly virtually from June 15–20, 2020.
We work to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity through initiatives in both Central Africa (especially the DRC) and the United States (particularly in immigrant communities around Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland).
